Low Income (<80% Median Income) $8000 for Heat Pump Systems

HIGH-EFFICIENCY ELECTRIC HOME REBATE ACT
Here are the caps on rebates for other upgrades made via the HEEHRA program:

- $8000 for a heat pump for space heating and cooling

- $840 for electric stoves, cooktops, ranges, ovens and electric heat pump clothes dryers

- $4000 for an electric load service center upgrade

- $1600 for insulation, air sealing and ventilation

- $2500 for electric wiring
There is a $14000 cap on the dollar amount of rebates offered under the program. For instance, low-income homeowners can get up to 100% of electrification projects covered - up to the cap of $14000 in rebates - while middle-income consumers can get up to 50% of their costs covered by the rebates (also up to that $14000 cap).
ENERGY STAR FEDERAL TAX REBATES
Get a tax credit of 10% of cost up to $500 or a specific amount from $50-$300 on certain system installations. Must be within an existing home and your principal residence. New construction and rentals do not apply.

My heater was making funny noises and acting a bit off. Hometown sent a technician out quickly and made sure everything was ok. I can always count on them to get the job done.
We had a wonderful experience with our furnace & AC replacement!! Excellent response time every step of the way. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Pricing is very competitive. A 10-year LABOR warranty to go with the usual manufacturer's equipment warranty!!! The Tidy Turtle duct cleaning service is awesome - they use a brush system that actually works [not just compressed air that does NOT work, we had it done]. The Aeroseal system works wonders, especially for our 120 year old house. We have a retrofit duct system that was pretty bad, but it works really well for newer systems also - you would be amazed how much air gets lost into wall and floor cavities instead of going into the rooms. Not that it makes me an expert, but I have almost 30 years experience in the commercial HVAC industry. Hometown Heroes did excellent work for us and it seems to me that they truly care about doing that for everyone.
Well here we are again a few years later but now we are getting a furnace. As soon as we tried to start our furnace this year it would not start up. We knew who to call. Your company has always been fair and competitive. We met Justin K this morning very professional and shot us straight with what as wrong. I have to admit I did try and give him a hard time on repair cost , validating costs of parts and what it would cost to keep a 20 + year old furnace going. My hubby has worked endlessly on keeping that old furnace going. Justin, understands times are tough right now. and we are a 1 person income, in our prime years. He had great empathy but sadly the parts costs out weighted the cost of a new furnace. He worked diligently on getting a good price of a new furnace and install. we really appreciated he went the extra mile. To management this young man is a keeper you should invest in keeping him for many years to come. He was invested in making sure he did right by us.
